Fab finds: Banana Republic

I went to Banana last night because I had a coupon for 40% off one item. I didn't even use it. They had a sale going on that was awesome. Here is a rundown of what I saw. And sorry boys, there wasn't much of a sale happening for you.

Dresses: The dresses were a little too Holiday for me. Most of them looked like you could wear them to a Holiday cocktail party. If you need that sort of dress, then good for you. I don't. The other dresses I saw were bad, clingy fabric. Fabric seemed to be viscose. Not a fan.
*Side Note* I don't know why Banana has suddenly decided to explore cheapish fabrics and still charge a fortune for the garments. Boggles my mind.

Pants: They had a combo of work slacks, jeans and casual pants. None of which caught my attention. None that were on sale at least. I did come across a pair of black matchstick pants that were to DIE for and I need to make a trip back with my 40% off coupon to snag them up!

Sweaters: They had some cute ones and some truly heinous ones. I bought a great black, scoop-neck sweater with cute detailing around the neck for $18! It's mostly wool, so it might be itchy for some.
*Side Note* The sweater I bought is more expensive online. Why, I have no idea. I would also like to mention that the online picture doesn't do it justice.

T-Shirts: Forgettable.

Shoes:
Forgettable.

Skirts: Adorable! And tons of them! I bought this super cute skirt and I love it. It's super comfy and has pockets. For me, pockets on a dress or skirt are a dream. Can't get enough of them. Plus, I really like the fabric on the skirt (mostly cotton). I definitly plan on wearing it in warm and cold weather.
*Side Note* The skirt is also more expensive online. So weird.

Jewelry: I didn't get to take a really good look at the jewelry but there was a TON of it on sale. I did see lots of turquoise.

My recommendation would be to go to the store. It appears to me that that's the place to get the real deals. Just an observation...
